Insulate enclosed trailer floor.

Trailer insulation in the gooseneck floor conduction is heat transferred through a solid material. Make sure that you wear gloves and a mask for protection. Adding insulation batting to the walls and floor of your three season porch can extend its usefulness during cold weather. My question is what other products should be applied in addition to the cork insulation do i need a heat shield of some sort between the aluminum siding and the cork and then on the inside do i need a vapor barrier between the cork and the inside.

The metal skin and framing of your trailer walls are excellent conductors of heat. Without any insulation a trailer sitting directly in the sun heats up fast. I am going to insulate an enclosed cargo trailer and i am pretty sold on the expanded cork for the project. Since the joists themselves are roughly 1 5 wide the section between each joist was approximately 14 5 wide.
