It s bad even if air doesn t flow into or out of the case here however if your pc sinks into the carpet a bit heat can build up underneath due to the lack of airflow. Carpet catches all the dust allergens and other air borne particles. If you have pets high children use and lots of spills i would recommend hard surfaces. Carpets need to be vacuumed on a regular basis to remove dirt and help keep it clean. Can you put a pc tower on carpet.
